This is one of my favorite places to shop due to the large selection and incredible prices. While you do need to be careful about small packages that end up costing more than buying normal sizes in department stores, many items are incredibly cheap surplus that you would pay an order of magnitude more for from other retailers.

I have purchased items such as USB cables (for phone charging), charging blocks, HDMI cables, tools (hammer, level, mallet, ruler), and other items that cost upwards of $10 elsewhere. They have greeting cards and helium balloons for $1, allowing you to pickup several cards and a car full of balloons for the cost of a single card in the mall. And they have a ton of party supplies; $15 will transform your house for a birthday or pool party.

I wish I could give them 3.5 stars due to the staff, though. There is one worker who is courteous, pleasant, and a joy to talk to. She seems genuinely happy and content every time I see her. However, the three other workers I usually see smile rarely, don't greet you, don't smalltalk with you; they just rush you through like you're another meaningless number instead of an actual person. I learned customer service skills by the age of 13; I'm sure these full grown adults can manage it.

All things considered, though, still one of my favorite places to shop. When you're getting that good of a deal it's hard to complain. And many other discount stores in the area offer even worse customer service.
